Caro Kelley is a German-American musician and soul-pop artist based in Munich.
Growing up playing classical piano in Ohio, by the age of 20 Caro was studying jazz piano and was already an accomplished big band singer, performing with jazz bands around Ohio and Kentucky. She has lived everywhere from Arkansas to Vienna and her musical style is genre-bending, combining her soulful, jazzy vocals and love of indie-rock into her own original brand of pop.
Caro’s debut album “Playroom” was released in September 2022, with funding and financial support from the Initiative Musik. In December 2022 she was awarded 5 prizes at the Deutscher Rock & Pop Preis, including “Best Pop Singer,” “Best Pop Album,” and “Song of the Year.” Together with her 7-piece soul-pop band, Caro has played at venues and festivals throughout Munich and Bavaria, including StuStaCulum, the Munich Sessions Summerfest, the Roofs Festival, and Tollwood.
Caro also works as a studio musician and a private lesson teacher in Munich. She teaches piano, voice, songwriting, and music theory.
